Attendees at the Merino Community Health Centre were told it was ‘their day’ as the greatly fought-for centre was officially opened on Monday. The fully-packed centre was opened by parliamentary secretary for health and ageing, Catherine King, to the welcome of many residents who had worked hard to secure the grant to part fund the centre.
