All funds raised through the Golf Day have been directed towards the purchase of a Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitor for use in the Emergency Department. This monitor is mobile and will provide an opportunity to monitor patient vital signs. The monitor “alarms” when the vital signs are outside normal parameters. The “alert” opportunity allows for more flexible monitoring of patients at all times.

We would also like to thank the Hamilton Golf Club for donating the use of their fantastic course and providing generous support and assistance throughout the day.

Once again on behalf of the Western District Health Service  - United Staff Association, I would like to thank you for your generous contributions and continued support in helping us raise much need funds to purchase essential equipment that will improve the comfort and safety of our patients.
