Bariatric Study
Western District Health Service is undertaking a retrospective study on bariatric surgical patients who have had either gastric banding or gastric stapling at Hamilton Base Hospital in the previous ten years.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the benefit to patients of this type of surgery and to assist our understanding of how we can improve the service we offer.
This study has been approved by appropriate committees at Western District Health and complies with Western District Health research policy.
