Maintenance

The maintenance department is managed by the Facility Manager.  A range of services are provided by qualified trade staff across the three campuses to maintain WDHS property and equipment in safe, operational and compliant state.  The team consists of plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters and fitters and turners.  General requests for repairs and maintenance are logged electronically on Beims Web to generate work orders. An on call response for emergency repairs is provided 24/7.

 

The Facility Manager is heavily involved in the planning and implementation of minor and major capital works programs.  Contractors must be registered with Ipro Live and sign the site register before commencement of any works.  Managing the repairs and periodic schedules for Biomedical equipment plus Fleet Management is also undertaken by the department.
