Mission Statement
The Infection Control Department strives to meet the needs of the staff and customers of WDHS and the Southern Grampians / Glenelg Regions by providing high quality education, support and expertise in all matters relating to Infection Control, Staff Health and Wound Care.
Vision Statement
The department will continue to respond to the regularly assessed needs of the staff and the customers of the Southern Grampians / Glenelg Region. Customers in this instance are identified as all personnel in the facilities and community members.
Location
The Infection Control Department is located in the basement area of the Hamilton Base Hospital.

Infection Control Services are available from 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
