Where to find Dietetics Department
The Nutrition and Dietetics department is located at Hamilton Base Hospital. The main office and outpatient rooms are found in the Allied Health building 'Hamilton House' on Tyers Street.
All departmental staff must meet the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs) standards and are university qualified professionals committed to quality service and the DAA code of ethics.
Services
The WDHS dietitians provide the following:
- Inpatient care at Hamilton Base Hospital
- Outpatient sessions at Hamilton House
- Aged care services to the Birches and Grange
- Community and Health Promotion Services
Off campus and regional service provision:
- Penshurst and Coleraine District Health Services
- Casterton Hospital
- Balmoral and Harrow Bush Nursing Centres
- Lyndoch Aged Care facilities Warrnambool
- Eventide and Edgarley (Casterton)
- Edenhope
Hours of Operation
8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
