Women’s Health

Primary tabs

Under the Women’s Health Program many services are provided including:

  • Breast Cancer Case Management - supporting women and their families through the journey of breast cancer.
  • Sexual and Reproductive Health - providing information about women’s health, and providing education sessions for schools and community groups
  • A Well Women’s Clinic is conducted with a qualified nurse and female GP.  Clinics are held on a Thursday evening, appointments are preferred but not essential.
  • Nurse Pap Smear Clinics

Clinic Times

Well Women’s Clinic:  4.45pm - 6.00pm Thursdays.  

Nurse Pap Smear Clinic:  2.00pm – 4.00pm Thursday, 5.00pm -7.00pm on the 1st Tuesday of the month by appointment, at other times by arranging with the Women’s Health Nurse 

Referrals

Referrals are accepted via e-referral from health professionals or directly from the community.  Call the Frances Hewett Community Centre to make an appointment.  Specific enquiries can be directed to the Women’s Health Nurse.
