Top of the Town tickets go on sale
22 June 2007
Top of the Town tickets will go on sale to the public next Thursday.
This year’s Charity Ball – “Reflections”, will be held on the foreshore of Lake Hamilton on October 13, to raise funds for a Steriliser for the Operating Theatre at Hamilton Base Hospital.
The new state-of-the-art Steriliser will feature significant water-saving components, and comes at a cost of $107,000, which the committee aims to raise through the Ball.
The committee is well on its way to achieving this, through the generous support which it has received from local and other corporate sponsors.
Following the remarkable success of the Top of the Town in 2004, the 2007 event will also be held in a grand marquee. Frankie J Holden and Wilbur Wilde will provide the entertainment and a charity auction and fireworks will all add to the fun of the evening.
There will be other surprises for this year’s Top of the Town guests as well.
Tickets for the Charity Ball are $200 a head, and tables of 10 are also available. A maximum of 10 tickets will be available per purchase.
From June 28, tickets will be available through the Western District Health Service on 5551 8044, or in person at the HBH Education Centre from 9am to 1pm next Thursday and Community Liaison Department from then on.
Inquiries: Deb Howcroft, Community Liaison Manager, Western District Health Service.
