North Hamilton Auxiliary funds for aged care services

The North Hamilton Ladies Auxiliary donated $2000 to Western District Health Service at its Annual General meeting this month.

Outgoing president Ethel Murray, presented the cheque to WDHS Chief Executive Officer Jim Fletcher, to purchase equipment for the Health Service’s aged care facilities

Mr Fletcher thanked the auxiliary for their efforts during the past 12 months, and congratulated Ethel on her leadership. Yvonne Reid was elected president at the AGM.

He applauded the efforts of the small committee, which has worked continuously to raise funds for the health service for more than 60 years.

The auxiliary held a fashion parade on May 11 to raise further funds for the health service.
