Summer Break Pool Party
16 December 2011
Supported by Western District Health Service, FReeZA and Southern Grampians Shire Council
Young people are encouraged to grab their swimmers and get wet on Friday 16 December when the Southern Grampians FReeZA committee hosts its last FReeZA gig for 2011.
The Summer Break Pool Party is becoming a popular annual event on the youth calendar organised by the youth4youth team at Western District Health Service. This year’s venue for the Pool Party is the Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre.
“The event is for young people aged 11 to 14 years and provides a great opportunity for young people to get out, socialise and get active” notes Ms Briana Picken, Youth Development Officer for Western District Health Service.
The pool party will be a fully supervised drug, alcohol and smoke free event.
The event will be held from 7pm until 9pm on Friday 16 December. Tickets are available at the door for $5 per person. There will be no pass outs. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase at the kiosk.
The Summer Break Pool Party is funded by the Victorian Government’s FreeZa initiative that promotes drug and alcohol free youth activities.
