Top of the Town says Big Thank You to In-Kind Sponsors

28August 2010

With only eight weeks to go until the big event, the organisation for The Top Of The Town Charity Ball is really starting to kick into gear.  An enormous amount of work goes into the organising and running of an event such as “The TOTT Ball”, and it would not be possible without the generous support of so many goods and service providers, not only from the local community but across Australia.
“It’s hard to imagine just how many people need to be involved in putting together an event such as this.  We need printers, photographers, caterers, security, decorators, administrators, transporters…the list is endless. “Chairman Ian Whiting said.
Donations don’t have to be monetary, everything counts.  Apart from the many generous businesses who took up sponsorship packages, TOTT has also had incredible support from a fantastic team of sponsors and volunteers who are giving up their time and energy to help with the smooth running of the evening.  Many local businesses have excelled themselves by donating not only their time, in helping organise the logistics and facilities for such a big event, but others have donated some wonderful items to be auctioned off during the evening from Pizza ovens, Rider Mowers to holidays in Broome.
“We must remember that this is not just an occasion to dress up and be entertained”, Chairman Ian Whiting said.  ”The whole community is getting behind our local health service to raise funds to equip the Hamilton Base Hospital Operating Theatres as a centre of excellence for keyhole and edoscopy surgery. .  The generosity of so many people and businesses is astounding and it shows the high regard we all have for WDHS.”
“There would not be a Top of the Town Ball without the generous support of so many businesses and people. An event of this magnitude could not happen without their help.”Mr Whiting said. TOTT Sponsors
