The National Centre for Farmer Health is a new university research, service delivery and education centre providing national leadership to improve the health and well being of farm workers and their families across Australia. The Centre is a partnership between Western District Health Service and Deakin University, School of Medicine and is based in Hamilton, Western Victoria. The award winning national Sustainable Farm Families Program (SFF) is a major project of this centre. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Division 1 Nurse who will contribute to the leadership and delivery of the SFF program. This position plays a vital role in building collaboration between agriculture, health and funders and assists in the future directions of the national award winning program. Some travel is required across Australia. Proposed start date - immediate. Desirable: Post graduate qualification in the relevant area and an understanding of the Australian farming sector.
